History: 250 business plans, marketing plans, and loan packages. 13-year history. It was the "Tony Smith DBA" for 10 years. It was originally funded by six investors: Tony & Leslye Smith, Mr. Finch, Ms. Kurzy, Mr. Kowanko, and Mr. Abbadessa.

Services: Business Plan Consulting group serving southern California clients seeking funds in excess of $2 million. Plans are created by the "A" team directly reporting to Tony Smith. Referred by TVA Capital, the Consultant's Network & nation-wide business seminars.

Fees: $20,000 per Certified Business Plan, limited to 50 clients per year.

Marketing: By referral and seminar series.

Services: Business Plan Consulting in the Southern California Region for businesses seeking less than $2 million in capital. Also provides business plan consulting support to Regal Business Consultants Network with Certified Business Plans.

Fees: $2,000 per phase, 4 phases – Business Analysis, Marketing Analysis, Financial Analysis, Certified Business Plan – Total of $8,000 per client.

Marketing: Business Start-Up Seminars, Regal publications, Regal sales team, Regal call center, TVA, TVA Score, Collaborators, Consultants network, Advertising, CCS Interactive, Public Relations.

Services: Completely web-based system for research, Certified Business Plan Software, Business Plan templates, Business Start-Up support, seminars, marketing, training, strategic alliance management and two Regal Consulting Teams support the Network.

Fees: $200 per month Network Access.

History: Tom Marino has been a Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate, and Business broker for 35 years. Tony Smith has been an agent for two years. In early 2008, Tom’s broker’s license was transferred to SoCalBizOps allowing the company to become a broker firm. The company focuses exclusively on providing commercial real estate and business broker services in California, listings, buyer representation and Executive Summary writing provided by Regal Business Consulting.

Services: Commercial Real Estate & Business Brokers.

Fees: Commission based. Commissions range from 2% to 10% with a broker/manager split of 80/20. The manager splits the remaining 80% with the agents.

History: Since 1995 when Smith began writing business plans it was obvious the only reason clients have business plans written is to gain access to capital. This is a division of vital importance as it is the "means to the end" for clients.

Services: Business Loan Packaging (post business plan), Credit Reporting, Funding Feasibility, client introduction to Certified Lending Bankers, SBA Lenders, Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists and Investment Bankers.

Fees: Loan packaging services range from $1,000 to $5,000 per client or 1-2% of the loan amount, whichever is greater. Commissions are also dependent upon the loan type and SBA guidelines.

Marketing: Membership in bankers associations, lending associations, business brokers associations, venture capital groups, angel groups, and association meetings.
